The Swap

If I were to try and squeeze “The Swap” into one image in my mind, I would describe it as layers upon layers of neatly defined, vibrant lines flowing together, apart, together in a constantly twisting maze. But that image isn’t right, because none of the characters in “The Swap” are one-dimensional. Each one is beautifully crafted, their individual and connected situations suited perfectly to their complicated, broken personalities. Ms Harding had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish, braced for the surprise(s) I knew had to eventually come, captivated by the story’s switching directions and consequences. Highly recommend to lovers of suspense/thrillers.
